Embroidered Leather Needle Case
Although the embroidery field of this beautiful leather needle case is dainty and demure, it packs a BIG punch! You will learn an assortment of basic embroidery stitches that will turn a plain piece of linen into a gardener’s delight. Filled with bright and happy colors, you will use coton a broder #25 to embroiderer a mini garden of stitches. You will learn about design transfer, needle position, tension, thread selection and needle selection as you learn the techniques for the back stitch, chain stitch, lazy daisy, French knot, blanket stitch flower, granito, stem/outline stitch, pistil stitch, and the chain/blanket stitch. You will have time to practice an then jump to your project piece to create your own embroidered wonderland. Leather needle case is available in several colors, and holds up to 10 packs of needles, as well as a pair of embroidery scissors. The thread colors will coordinate with your needle case. I will contact students for their color choice prior to class.
